Stjerne went on to lose 7-6 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Stjerne responded with a 5-3 win over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.

Stjerne earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Ford World Men's Curling Championship.
