Homan won 8-2 against Jill Shumay (Maidstone, SK). Homan went on to lose 9-7 against Jones. Homan responded with a 6-5 win over Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS). Homan won 10-2 against Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI), then won 6-5 against Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.
