Virtue lost 7-2 to Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) where Virtue responded with a 4-2 win over Andrew Bilesky (New Westminster, BC). Virtue went on to lose 9-8 against James Grattan (Oromocto, NB). Virtue lost 7-6 to Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB) where Virtue responded with a 7-2 win over Paul Flemming (Lower Sackville, NS). Virtue won 7-6 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Virtue went on to lose 6-5 against Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB). Virtue lost 10-6 to Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT) where Virtue responded with a 8-5 win over Jean-Michel Menard (St. Romuald, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.

Virtue earned 10.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 30 of the event schedule, Virtue did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Virtue ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
