Virtue went on to lose 6-5 against Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB). Virtue lost 10-6 to Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT) where Virtue responded with a 8-5 win over Jean-Michel Menard (St. Romuald, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
