Erika Brown (Madison, WI) won 8-7 over Ontario's Jill Mouzar in the Final of the Madison Cash Spiel, held November 30 - December 2, 2012 at the Madison Curling Club in McFarland, United States. Brown finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Charrissa Lin (New Haven, CT) 6-3, then won 6-3 against Joyance Meechai (Ardsley, NY) and 8-4 against Minnesota's Amy Wright. Brown won 6-1 against Becca Hamilton (Madison, WI) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Madison Cash Spiel Championship title, Brown earned 5.250 world rankings points along with the $2,486CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 24th place overall with 60.300 total points. Brown ranks 28th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 28.550 points earned so far this season.
