To advance to the championship game, Lank won 4-3 over Minnesota's Cassie Potter in the semifinals of the 2012 St. Paul Cash Spiel in St. Paul;
Lank finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lank lost 7-4 to Becca Hamilton (Madison, WI), then responded with a 9-3 win over Gabrielle Coleman (San Francisco, CA). Lank won 8-4 against Miranda Solem (Cohasset, MN), then won 9-1 against Charrissa Lin (New Haven, CT) and 7-2 against Brigid Ellig (St. Paul, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the St. Paul Cash Spiel Championship title, Lank earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $2,943CDN first prize cheque, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 62nd place overall with 13.848 total points. Lank ranks 66th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.500 points earned so far this season.
