Edin finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin defeated Grant Hardie (Dumfries, SCO) 10-3, then won 7-2 against Thomas Lovold (Oslo, NOR) and 6-2 against Jean-Francois Royer (Montreal, PQ). Edin won 7-4 against Evgeniy Arkhipov (Moscow, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.
