Chantelle Eberle (Regina, SK) won 7-2 over Lisa Eyamie (High River, AB) in the Final of the MNP Charity Classic, held October 12 - 15, 2012 at the Medicine Hat Curling Club in Medicine Hat, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Eberle won 5-4 over Amy Nixon (Calgary/Red Deer, AB) in the semifinals of the 2012 MNP Charity Classic in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada; and won 6-5 over Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 MNP Charity Classic in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada;
Eberle finished 5-2 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Eberle defeated Ayumi Ogasawara (Kariuzawa, JPN) 7-6, then won 5-4 against Trish Paulsen (Saskatoon, SK). Eberle went on to lose 7-2 against Nixon. Eberle lost 7-1 to Wang where Eberle responded with a 6-1 win over Paulsen. Eberle won 9-2 against Holly Whyte (Edmonton, AB), then won 6-5 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the MNP Charity Classic Championship title, Eberle earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 45th place overall with 25.200 total points. Eberle ranks 30th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.675 points earned so far this season.
