Wang finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wang defeated Kirsten Fox (New Westminster, BC) 9-3, then won 7-5 against Kalia Van Osch (Nanaimo, BC) and 9-1 against Alexandra Carlson (St. Paul, MN). Wang won 6-4 against Patti Knezevic (Prince George, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Cloverdale Cash Spiel Championship title, Wang earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $2,200CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 15th place overall with 64.825 total points. Wang ranks 25th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.500 points earned so far this season.
