Simon Dupuis (Buckingham, PQ) won 8-6 over Philippe Lemay (Trois-Rivieres, PQ) in the Final of the Vic Open, held December 13 - 16, 2012 at the Victoria Curling Club in Quebec, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Dupuis won 2-1 over Marie-France Larouche (Levis, PQ) in the semifinals of the 2012 Vic Open in Quebec, Quebec, Canada; and won 6-3 over Steeve Gagnon (Rosemere, PQ) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 Vic Open in Quebec, Quebec, Canada;
 
Dupuis finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dupuis defeated Denis Laflamme (Sept-Iles, PQ) 9-4, then won 8-3 against Pierre-Luc Morissette (Quebec, PQ). Dupuis went on to lose 9-2 against Robert Desjardins (Chicoutimi, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
