Sinclair finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sinclair lost 9-5 to Patti Lank (Lewiston, NY), then responded with a 9-4 win over Lauren Mann (Ottawa, ON). Sinclair won 7-2 against Chantal Lalonde (London, ON), then won 6-4 against Stephanie Van Huyse (Whitby, ON). Sinclair went on to lose 10-4 against McKnight in their final qualifying round match.

Sinclair earned 1.375 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Guelph Womens Cashspiel, moving up 35 spots the World Ranking Standings into 157th place overall with 1.945 total points. Sinclair ranks 115th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.375 points earned so far this season.
