Ontario's Krista McCarville won 8-4 over Becca Hamilton (Madison, WI) in the Final of the Molson Cash Spiel, held November 23 - 25, 2012 at the Duluth Curling Club in Duluth, United States. To advance to the championship game, Ontario's Krista McCarville won 6-4 over Amy Wright (Duluth, MN) in the semifinals
 
Ontario's Krista McCarville finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ontario's Krista McCarville defeated Tirzah Keffer (Thunder Bay, NONT) 6-4, then won 6-5 against Minnesota's Cory Christensen and 9-1 against Charrissa Lin (New Haven, CT). Ontario's Krista McCarville went on to lose 7-4 against Hamilton. Ontario's Krista McCarville responded with a 5-1 win over Jenna Haag (Janesville, WI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Molson Cash Spiel Championship title, Ontario's Krista McCarville earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $2,979CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 27th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 54.000 total points. Ontario's Krista McCarville ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.250 points earned so far this season.
