To advance to the championship game, Brown won 7-6 over Susan McKnight (Uxbridge, ON) in the semifinals of the 2012 OCT Championships in Oakville, Ontario; and won 8-6 over Jennifer Spencer (Brampton, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 OCT Championships in Oakville, Ontario;
 
Brown finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Ontario's Marika Bakewell 4-3, then won 7-1 against Jill Mouzar (Toronto, ON) and 5-4 against Julie Hastings (Thornhill, ON). Brown won 9-2 against Katie Lindsay (Welland, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the OCT Championships Championship title, Brown earned 9.400 world rankings points along with the $4,400CDN first prize cheque, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 22nd place overall with 41.150 total points. Brown ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.400 points earned so far this season.
