Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) won 6-3 over Mark Kean (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the OCT Championships, held September 6 - 9, 2012 in Oakville, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Jacobs won 7-5 over Ontario's Bryan Cochrane in the semifinals of the 2012 OCT Championships in Oakville, Ontario; and won 5-3 over Ontario's Rob Rumfeldt in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 OCT Championships in Oakville, Ontario;
 
Jacobs finished 3-1 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs defeated Tom Pruliere (Sarnia, ON) 6-0, then went on to lose 6-4 against Ontario's Bryan Cochrane. Jacobs responded with a 5-2 win over Ontario's Rob Lobel. Jacobs won 6-4 against Aaron Squires (St Thomas, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the OCT Championships Championship title, Jacobs earned 17.750 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 10th place overall with 114.329 total points. Jacobs ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 17.750 points earned so far this season.
