Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2012 Cactus Pheasant Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-1 against Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB). of the 2012 Cactus Pheasant Classic in Brooks, Alberta;

Stoughton finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stoughton defeated David Nedohin (Edmonton, AB) 6-1, then won 8-2 against Thomas Ulsrud (oslo, NOR).
