Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) won 8-6 over Andrew Bilesky (Vancouver , BC) in the Final of the Westcoast Curling Classic, held October 5 - 8, 2012 at the Royal City Curling Club in New Westminster, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Martin won 5-2 over Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) in the semifinals of the 2012 Westcoast Curling Classic in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada; and won 7-1 over Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC) in the quarterfinals.
 
Martin finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin lost 9-2 to Pierce, then responded with a 5-3 win over William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB). Martin won 8-1 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN), then won 7-1 against Brady Clark (Seattle, WA) and 6-4 against Ken McArdle (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Westcoast Curling Classic Championship title, Martin earned 19.500 world rankings points along with the $14,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 3rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 251.970 total points. Martin ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 39.500 points earned so far this season.
