Geall finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Geall defeated Jay Wakefield (New Westminster, BC) 6-4, then went on to lose 7-3 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). Geall responded with a 6-5 win over Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK). Geall won 6-5 against David Nedohin (Edmonton, AB). Geall went on to lose 7-1 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
Geall earned 8.125 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Westcoast Curling Classic, moving up 59 spots the World Ranking Standings into 86th place overall with 12.961 total points. Geall ranks 36th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.880 points earned so far this season.
