Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC) qualified for the 2012 Westcoast Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-1 against Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB).

Geall finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Geall defeated Jay Wakefield (New Westminster, BC) 6-4, then went on to lose 7-3 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). Geall responded with a 6-5 win over Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK). Geall won 6-5 against David Nedohin (Edmonton, AB). Geall went on to lose 7-1 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
