Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) run at the 2012 Westcoast Curling Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-2 loss to Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB). of the 2012 Westcoast Curling Classic in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada; Pierce advanced through the quarterfinals with a 5-4 win over Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). of the 2012 Westcoast Curling Classic in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada;

Pierce finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pierce defeated Martin 9-2, then won 5-2 against Brady Clark (Seattle, WA) and 6-4 against Ken McArdle (New Westminster, BC). Pierce won 7-2 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN). Pierce went on to lose 5-3 against William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Pierce earned 11.375 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Westcoast Curling Classic, dropping 2 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 28th place overall with 53.470 total points. Pierce ranks 29th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.210 points earned so far this season.
