Cotter won 4-2 against Brock Virtue (Regina, SK). Cotter went on to lose 7-4 against Bilesky. Cotter responded with a 6-2 win over Randie Shen (Taipei, TPE) in their final qualifying round match.
Cotter earned 8.125 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Westcoast Curling Classic, remaining in 18th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 79.984 total points. Cotter ranks 24th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 16.475 points earned so far this season.
