Koe responded with a 9-5 win over Darrell McKee (Saskatoon, SK). Koe went on to lose 13-8 against Ian Fitzner-Leblanc (Halifax, NS). Koe responded with a 7-2 win over Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB). Koe won 7-6 against Serge Reid (Jonquiere, PQ), then won 6-3 against James Grattan (Oromocto, NB) and 8-3 against Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, Y/NWT). Koe went on to lose 7-6 against Howard in their final qualifying round match.
