Koe finished 8-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste. Marie, NONT) 9-6, then won 9-4 against Rod MacDonald (Charlottetown, PEI) and 7-6 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). Koe went on to lose 7-5 against Jeff Richard (Kelowna, BC). Koe responded with a 9-5 win over Darrell McKee (Saskatoon, SK). Koe went on to lose 13-8 against Ian Fitzner-Leblanc (Halifax, NS). Koe responded with a 7-2 win over Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB). Koe won 7-6 against Serge Reid (Jonquiere, PQ), then won 6-3 against James Grattan (Oromocto, NB) and 8-3 against Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, Y/NWT). Koe went on to lose 7-6 against Howard in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Tim Hortons Brier Championship title, Koe earned 0.000 world rankings points. For week of the event schedule, Koe did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Koe ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
