Morton responded with a 7-4 win over Ryan Flippo (Fairbanks, AK). Morton won 6-4 against Evan Jensen (Medford, WI), then won 11-4 against Adam Kitchens (Devils Lake, ND) and 10-4 against Ethan Meyers (Duluth, MN). Morton went on to lose 6-5 against Kyle Kakela (Rolla, ND). Morton responded with a 12-2 win over Nathaniel Clark (Nashua, NH). Morton went on to lose 9-6 against Dropkin in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the US Junior Nationals, Morton take home 5.000 world rankings points, moving up 43 spots the World Ranking Standings into 130th place overall with 11.500 total points. Morton ranks 81st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.500 points earned so far this season.
