Christensen finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Christensen lost 9-5 to Hannah Ely (Penfield, NY), then responded with a 10-5 win over Vicky Persinger (Fairbanks, AK). Christensen won 13-4 against Rachel Tharalson (Hoople, ND), then won 12-7 against Jenna Haag (Milton, WI) and 9-1 against Shelby Sweet (Everett, WA). Christensen won 7-5 against Solem. Christensen went on to lose 11-3 against Becca Hamilton (McFarland, WI). Christensen responded with a 11-2 win over Emily Walker (Sudbury, MA). Christensen won 12-11 against Abigayle Lindgren (Grand Forks, ND) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the US Junior Nationals Championship title, Christensen earned 8.000 world rankings points, moving up 153 spots the World Ranking Standings into 112th place overall with 8.000 total points. Christensen ranks 69th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.000 points earned so far this season.
