In their opening game, Dodds lost 8-2 to Hannah Fleming (Perth, SCO), then responded with a 8-2 win over Kerry Barr (Perth, SCO). Dodds went on to lose 7-3 against Sarah Reid (Glasgow, SCO). Dodds responded with a 6-3 win over Gina Aitken (Edinburgh, SCO). Dodds went on to lose 5-2 against Gail Munro (Stranraer, SCO). Dodds lost 5-4 to Jackie Lockhart (Edinburgh, SCO). Dodds lost 10-4 to Eve Muirhead (Perth, SCO) where Dodds responded with a 9-3 win over Jennifer Martin (Killmarnock, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
