Jocelyn Peterman (Red Deer, AB) won 8-5 over Brittany Whittemore (Edmonton, AB) in the Final Peterman advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the Alberta SUBWAY Junior Championships, held January 10 - 15, 2012 in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
 
Peterman finished 6-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterman defeated Megan Orr (Red Deer, AB) 10-7, then won 8-2 against Courtney Missikewitz (Airdrie, AB). Peterman went on to lose 10-4 against Athena Sturmay (Calmar, AB). Peterman responded with a 10-3 win over Stephanie Powell (Sexsmith, AB). Peterman won 9-8 against Whittemore, then won 9-6 against Keely Brown (Edmonton, AB) and 10-2 against Kellie Henricks (Grande Prairie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
