Potter finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Potter defeated Maureen Stolt (St. Paul, MN) 11-5, then won 8-6 against Alexandra Carlson (Wayzata, MN). Potter went on to lose 8-7 against Becca Hamilton (McFarland, WI). Potter responded with a 7-6 win over Pottinger. Potter won 8-5 against Kimberly Wapola (St. Paul, MN), then won 9-6 against Patti Lank (Lewiston, NY) and 7-4 against Erika Brown (Madison, WI). Potter went on to lose 8-4 against Aileen Sormunen (Duluth, MN). Potter responded with a 12-2 win over Janice Langanke (Middletown, NJ) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the US Curling Nationals, Potter take home 8.750 world rankings points, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 63rd place overall with 24.625 total points. Potter ranks 50th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.000 points earned so far this season.
