Bottcher won 8-2 against Brett Dekoning (Omemee, ON), then won 10-3 against Brennan Wark (Thunder Bay, NONT) and 4-3 against Colin Thomas (St. John's, NL). Bottcher went on to lose 9-5 against Kyle Doering (Winnipeg, MB). Bottcher responded with a 6-3 win over Stuart Thompson (Halifax, NS). Bottcher won 5-4 against Felix Asselin (Montreal, PQ), then won 9-4 against Daniel Murray (Yellowknife, NT) and 7-3 against Thomas Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK). Bottcher won 8-5 against Josh Barry (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the M&M Meat Shops Canadian Juniors Championship title, Bottcher earned 8.000 world rankings points. For week 26 of the event schedule, Bottcher did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
