Doering won 7-2 against Brett Dekoning (Omemee, ON), then won 7-5 against Alex Matters (Charlottetown, PEI) and 7-5 against Colin Thomas (St. John's, NL). Doering won 8-7 against Josh Barry (Fredericton, NB), then won 9-5 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) and 7-5 against Brady Scharback (Saskatoon, SK). Doering won 6-5 against Stuart Thompson (Halifax, NS). Doering went on to lose 7-6 against Felix Asselin (Montreal, PQ). Doering responded with a 5-3 win over Josh Hozack (Victoria, BC). Doering went on to lose 5-4 against Thomas Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Doering earned 4.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the M&M Meat Shops Canadian Juniors. For week 26 of the event schedule, Doering did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
