To advance to the championship game, Wark won 7-3 over Kyle Doering (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2012 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Juniors in Napanee, Ontario;

Wark finished 9-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wark defeated Doering 5-3, then won 7-4 against Stuart Thompson (Halifax, NS) and 9-4 against Josh Hozack (Victoria, BC). Wark went on to lose 7-5 against Thomas Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK). Wark lost 10-3 to Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). Wark lost 7-3 to Felix Asselin (Montreal, PQ) where Wark responded with a 6-4 win over Brady Scharback (Saskatoon, SK). Wark won 9-3 against Alex Matters (Charlottetown, PEI), then won 11-3 against Daniel Murray (Yellowknife, NT) and 6-4 against Brett Dekoning (Omemee, ON). Wark won 8-6 against Colin Thomas (St. John's, NL), then won 12-7 against Josh Barry (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the M&M Meat Shops Canadian Juniors, Wark take home 5.000 world rankings points, moving up 102 spots the World Ranking Standings into 171st place overall with 7.125 total points. Wark ranks 117th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.125 points earned so far this season.
