To advance to the championship game, Peterman won 8-7 over Kesa Van Osch (Victoria, BC) in the semifinals of the 2012 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Juniors in Napanee, Ontario;
Peterman finished 10-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterman defeated Van Osch 9-8, then won 11-2 against Kristen Streifel (Saskatoon, SK) and 9-4 against Sarah Fullerton (Charlottetown, PEI). Peterman won 9-6 against Jamie Sinclair (Manotick, ON), then won 12-5 against Kendra Lilly (Sudbury, NONT) and 10-9 against Erica Trickett (St. John's, NL). Peterman went on to lose 9-5 against Birchard. Peterman lost 8-7 to Emily Dwyer (Halifax, NS) where Peterman responded with a 9-4 win over Roxane Perron (Quebec, PQ). Peterman won 9-4 against Taryn Williams (Yellowknife, NT), then won 7-6 against Sarah Koltun (Whitehorse, YK) and 6-5 against Jennifer Armstrong (Rothesay, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the M&M Meat Shops Canadian Juniors Championship title, Peterman earned 8.000 world rankings points, moving up 222 spots the World Ranking Standings into 114th place overall with 8.000 total points. Peterman ranks 69th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.000 points earned so far this season.
