Wang went on to lose 7-5 against Italy's Diana Gaspari. Wang lost 7-5 to Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS) where Wang responded with a 7-6 win over Lene Nielsen (Taarnby, DEN). Wang went on to lose 7-5 against Korea's Ji-Sun Kim. Wang lost 7-5 to Sweden's Margaretha Sigfridsson. Wang lost 9-7 to Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) where Wang responded with a 11-6 win over Linda Klimova (Prague, CZE). Wang went on to lose 6-5 against Melanie Robillard (Fuessen, GER) in their final qualifying round match.

Wang earned 6.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. Wang move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 4.095 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 14th overall with 136.068 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Wang ranks 18th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 62.075 points earned so far this season.
