Nedohin responded with a 7-4 win over Scott. Nedohin won 10-5 against Kim Dolan (Charlottetown, PEI), then won 9-8 against Michelle Englot (Regina, SK). Nedohin went on to lose 6-5 against Marie-France Larouche (Quebec, PQ). Nedohin responded with a 10-3 win over Heather Strong (St. John's, NL). Nedohin won 7-6 against Heather Smith-Dacey (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Scotties Tournament of Hearts Championship title, Nedohin earned 45.000 world rankings points.
