Jan Hauser (GC R+B, SUI) finished 3-8 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hauser lost 8-4 to Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE), droppimg another game, 5-3 to Jiri Snitil (Brno, CZE). Hauser lost 7-4 to Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN). Hauser lost 7-4 to Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO) where Hauser responded with a 9-4 win over Johnny Jahr (Fuessen, GER). Hauser went on to lose 7-6 against Glenn Howard (Coldwater, CAN). Hauser lost 9-4 to Rasmus Stjerne (Hvidore, DEN). Hauser lost 9-6 to Peter De Boer (Naseby, NZL) where Hauser responded with a 7-5 win over Heath McCormick (New York, USA). Hauser went on to lose 6-4 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). Hauser responded with a 10-6 win over Thomas Dufour (Chamonix, FRA) in their final qualifying round match.

Hauser earned 6.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 34 of the event schedule, Hauser did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hauser ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
