Brewster went on to lose 5-3 against Thomas Dufour (Chamonix, FRA). Brewster responded with a 7-6 win over Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN). Brewster won 7-4 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Brewster went on to lose 7-5 against Howard. Brewster responded with a 9-6 win over Jiri Snitil (Brno, CZE). Brewster won 8-6 against Heath McCormick (New York, USA) in their final qualifying round match.
