Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) won 5-4 over Peter Corner (Brampton, ON) in the Final of the The Dominion Tankard, held February 4 - 12, 2012 in Stratford, Ontario.

Howard finished 10-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Dayna Deruelle (Brampton, ON) 12-6, then won 9-6 against Bryan Cochrane (Ottawa, ON) and 8-3 against Greg Balsdon (Chaffeys Locks, ON). Howard won 6-4 against Mark Kean (Toronto, ON), then won 7-1 against Wayne Tuck Jr. (Woodstock, ON) and 5-0 against Chris Gardner (Arnprior, ON). Howard won 11-1 against Corner, then won 8-2 against Daryl Shane (Listowel, ON) and 8-4 against Jake Higgs (Harriston, ON). Howard won 7-3 against Mike Anderson (Thornhill, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the The Dominion Tankard Championship title, Howard earned 16.000 world rankings points. For week 26 of the event schedule, Howard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Howard ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
