Corner finished 8-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Corner defeated Mark Kean (Toronto, ON) 9-3, then won 9-4 against Wayne Tuck Jr. (Woodstock, ON) and 8-7 against Chris Gardner (Arnprior, ON). Corner went on to lose 6-4 against Daryl Shane (Listowel, ON). Corner responded with a 6-5 win over Jake Higgs (Harriston, ON). Corner went on to lose 11-1 against Howard. Corner responded with a 9-7 win over Mike Anderson (Thornhill, ON). Corner won 8-5 against Dayna Deruelle (Brampton, ON), then won 7-2 against Bryan Cochrane (Ottawa, ON) and 10-5 against Greg Balsdon (Chaffeys Locks, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
