Middaugh won 6-5 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Middaugh earned 25.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Sun Life Financial Players' Championship, remaining in 8th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 18.85 after improving upon their best so far this season.
