Jones won 8-4 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON), then won 6-1 against Eve Muirhead (Perth, SCO) and 6-3 against Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Jones earned 25.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Sun Life Financial Players' Championship, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 10 after improving upon their best so far this season. Jones ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 200.220 points earned so far this season.
