Middaugh won 8-7 against Cathy Auld (Mississauga, ON), then won 2-1 against Kathy Brown (Schomberg, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Middaugh earned 6.920 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Ontario Scotties. For week 24 of the event schedule, Middaugh did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
