Horgan won 7-3 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON), then won 8-3 against Laura Pickering (North Bay, ON). Horgan went on to lose 9-3 against Homan. Horgan responded with a 9-3 win over Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, ON). Horgan won 7-6 against Marlo Dahl (Thunder Bay, ON), then won 7-5 against Kathy Brown (Schomberg, ON) and 6-2 against Allison Nimik (St. Thomas, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
