Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB) won 5-3 over Randy Dutiaume (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the MCT Championships, held December 8 - 12, 2011 in Morris, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, Fowler won 7-6 over David Hamblin (Morris, MB) in the semifinals of the 2011 MCT Championships in Morris, Manitoba; and won 7-1 over Dave Elias (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 MCT Championships in Morris, Manitoba;
 
Fowler finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fowler defeated Ron Gauthier (Winnipeg, MB) 7-4, then went on to lose 6-5 against Elias. Fowler lost 6-3 to Scott Ramsay (Winnipeg, MB) where Fowler responded with a 5-3 win over Richard Muntain (Pinawa, MB). Fowler won 8-2 against Ramsay in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the MCT Championships Championship title, Fowler earned 5.550 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 9th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 158.370 total points. Fowler ranks 19th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 50.910 points earned so far this season.
