Jeff Stoughton (winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2012 Whites Drug Store Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-0 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2012 Whites Drug Store Classic in Swan River, Manitoba, Canada;

Stoughton finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stoughton defeated Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK) 6-5, then won 4-3 against Jim Cotter (Kelowna/Vernon, BC). Stoughton went on to lose 7-2 against McEwen. Stoughton lost 7-3 to Hartung where Stoughton responded with a 10-4 win over Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB). Stoughton won 7-5 against Daley Peters (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Stoughton earned 10.125 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Whites Drug Store Classic, remaining in 7th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 239.562 total points. Stoughton ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 118.475 points earned so far this season.
