To advance to the championship game, Spencer won 7-1 over Kelsey Boettcher (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals   of the 2011 One Insurance Classic in Selkirk, Manitoba; 
 
Spencer finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Spencer lost 6-5 to Liza Park (Brandon, MB), then responded with a 9-2 win over Terry Ursel (Plumas, MB). Spencer went on to lose 6-3 against Erika Sigurdson (Stonewall, MB). Spencer responded with a 9-0 win over Deb McCreanor (La Salle, MB). Spencer won 6-1 against D'Arcy Maywood (Winnipeg, MB), then won 6-0 against Kim Link (East St. Paul, MB) and 5-2 against Jackie Komyshyn (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the One Insurance Classic, Spencer take home 3.115 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN prize, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 41st place overall with 27.273 total points. Spencer ranks 32nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.456 points earned so far this season.
