Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) run at the 2012 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-5 loss to Chelsea Carey (Morden, MB).
 
Lawes finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lawes defeated Roselyn Craig (Duncan, BC) 8-3, then won 10-3 against Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB) and 6-4 against Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
