Rob Iuvale (Victoria, BC) finished 1-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Iuvale lost 5-2 to Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB), droppimg another game, 8-4 to Brock Virtue (Regina, SK) where Iuvale responded with a 10-7 win over Rick McKague (Edmonton, AB). Iuvale went on to lose 9-0 against Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 33 of the event schedule, Iuvale did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Iuvale ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
