Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB) run at the 2012 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-5 loss to Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2012 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational in Victoria, British Columbia; Fowler advanced through the quarterfinals with a 4-3 win over Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2012 Victoria Curling Classic Invitational in Victoria, British Columbia;

Fowler finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fowler defeated Neil Dangerfield (Victoria, BC) 10-7, then went on to lose 6-0 against Stoughton. Fowler lost 4-1 to Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) where Fowler responded with a 9-0 win over Rob Iuvale (Victoria, BC). Fowler won 5-2 against Steve Petryk (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Fowler earned 13.480 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Victoria Curling Classic Invitational. Fowler move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 7.48 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 7th overall with 220.590 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Fowler ranks 9th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 113.130 points earned so far this season.
