To advance to the championship game, Galbraith won 8-6 over Jared Kolomaya (Stonewall, MB) in the semifinals of the 2011 Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Classic in Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada; and won 5-2 over Manitoba's Joey Witherspoon in the quarterfinals.
 
Galbraith finished 4-0 in the 31-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Galbraith defeated Mark Hadway (Dauphin, MB) 6-3, then won 6-5 against Rob Van Kommer (Carberry, MB) and 9-5 against Kolomaya. Galbraith won 9-6 against Brock Virtue (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Classic, Galbraith take home 5.180 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 71st place overall with 27.558 total points. Galbraith ranks 54th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.515 points earned so far this season.
