Colton Flasch (Saskatoon, SK) lost 6-3 to Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Whites Drug Store Classic, held November 11 - 14, 2011 at the Swan River Curling Club in Swan River, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Flasch won 7-2 over Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB) in the semifinals of the 2011 Whites Drug Store Classic in Swan River, Manitoba, Canada; and won 7-4 over Claudio Pescia (St. Gallen, SUI) in the quarterfinals.
Flasch finished 4-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Flasch defeated Greg Todoruk (Dauphin, MB) 7-3, then won 7-3 against Randy Bryden (Regina, SK) and 5-3 against Al Schick (Regina, SK). Flasch won 6-5 against Terry McNamee (Brandon, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Whites Drug Store Classic, Flasch take home 11.835 world rankings points along with the $7,500CDN prize. For week 13 of the event schedule, Flasch did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Flasch ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
