Claudio Pescia (St. Gallen, SUI) qualified for the 2011 Whites Drug Store Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-4 against Colton Flasch (Saskatoon, SK).

Pescia finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pescia lost 6-5 to Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 8-1 win over Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK).
