Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2011 Schmirler Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-3 against Janet Harvey (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2011 Schmirler Curling Classic in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Overton-Clapham finished 4-1 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Overton-Clapham lost 7-6 to Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC), then responded with a 7-6 win over Olga Zyablikova (Moscow, RUS). Overton-Clapham won 8-7 against Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK), then won 7-4 against Jolene Campbell (Humboldt, SK) and 6-4 against Trish Paulsen (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Overton-Clapham earned 10.125 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Schmirler Curling Classic, dropping 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 17th place overall with 68.187 total points. Overton-Clapham ranks 20th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.125 points earned so far this season.
