Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2011 Manitoba Lotteries Men's Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-2 against Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN). of the 2011 Manitoba Lotteries Men's Curling Classic in Brandon;

Bottcher finished 3-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bottcher defeated William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB) 5-1, then went on to lose 6-2 against Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB). Bottcher responded with a 6-2 win over Kelly Marnoch (Carberry, MB). Bottcher went on to lose 5-3 against Kelly Skinner (Brandon, MB). Bottcher responded with a 7-5 win over David Bohn (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Bottcher earned 2.745 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Manitoba Lotteries Men's Curling Classic, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 87th place overall with 15.310 total points. Bottcher ranks 44th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.545 points earned so far this season.
