Darrell McKee (Saskatoon, SK) qualified for the 2011 Manitoba Lotteries Men's Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-5 against Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB).

McKee finished 3-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McKee lost 6-0 to David Bohn (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 4-3 win over Perry Fisher (Nesbitt, MB). McKee won 8-4 against Pete Fenson (Bemidji, MN). McKee went on to lose 7-3 against Vic Peters (Winnipeg , MB). McKee responded with a 6-3 win over Manitoba's Chris Galbraith in their final qualifying round match.

McKee earned 2.745 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Manitoba Lotteries Men's Curling Classic, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 76th place overall with 17.371 total points. McKee ranks 80th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.745 points earned so far this season.
